Hotel Santa Caterina

Beneath the terraced lemon groves that cling to the Amalfitana cliffside west of town, Hotel Santa Caterina steps down the rock face in a series of vine-draped terraces, each layer closer to a private sea platform cut directly into the limestone.

Two saltwater pools occupy different elevations; a glass-walled lift connects the main building to the lower pool and the rocky bathing jetty without requiring guests to navigate the external coastal road. The restaurant sources daily from local fishermen and the hotel's own citrus groves — the limoncello served at dinner is estate-produced.

The SS163 Amalfitana runs above the property rather than beside it, keeping noise low. Amalfi's cathedral square is a ten-minute walk east along the coastal path.
