Locanda Degli Agrumi

Forty steps above Amalfi's cathedral square, Locanda Degli Agrumi takes its name from the lemon and citrus groves that still terrace the hillside behind the property — a detail most visitors photograph from boats without ever reaching on foot.

Rooms face the Tyrrhenian across tile-and-marble floors, with sea-view terraces and a private beach area reachable via shuttle. The bar stocks local Sfusato Amalfitano limoncello; cooking classes draw on the same citrus harvest. Upper floors are stair-access only, which keeps the loudest foot traffic below.

Via I° Maggio sits a short climb from the ferry dock connecting Amalfi to Positano and Salerno. Bicycle rental and a tour desk cover the coastal path toward Atrani, the least-visited of the Amalfi Coast towns, just ten minutes on foot.
