Villa Bossa Amalfi

Converted from a 19th-century lemon estate above Amalfi's cathedral square, Villa Bossa terraces its rooms down the cliff face so each private loggia looks directly over the Tyrrhenian rather than the rooftop next door. A stone stairway cut into the rock descends to the Marina Grande waterfront in under ten minutes.

The property's original limonaia — the vaulted lemon store — now serves as the breakfast room, with preserved iron hooks and terra-cotta floors unchanged. Morning meals draw on Sfusato Amalfitano lemons grown on the estate's surviving grove.

Via Carusiello sits above the busiest pedestrian lanes, keeping noise low while remaining two minutes from the Duomo di Sant'Andrea. Ferries to Positano and Capri depart from the port below every morning between 09:00 and 13:00.
